About Care & Share of Erie County
Fifty years ago, Care and Share Incorporated of Erie County was organized by The Church Women United in 1971. It is a public, nonprofit, faith-based agency which works to help the community be reducing the stigma surrounding food insecurity and working to eradicate hunger.
Monetary Donations
If you are feeling generous, there are four ways to make a monetary donation
- Make a check payable to "Care & Share" -- the can be dropped off or mailed to Care & Share, 241 Jackson Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870
- Cash -- drop off cash donations at the address above between the hours of 11am - 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or by appointment

- Flour, oil, sugar, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder

- Shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, and soap
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Combs/brushes
- Sheets, blankets, comforters, and pillows
- Bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels
